Ministries

Choir

The choir sings appropriate hymns during mass, uplifting proceedings and adding to the atmosphere and ambience befitting the occasion for that particular day or season, especially when the church celebrates feast days and special occasions like Lent, Easter or Advent. Altar Servers

This privileged group of boys and men assist the priest in the celebration of the liturgy during Mass. Some of their duties include carrying the cross, presenting the bread, wine, and water to the priest during the preparation of the gifts or assisting him when he receives the gifts from the people and assisting the priest celebrant and deacon as necessary. Click the image to contact us to join the Altar Servers.

Lectors

Lectors are responsible for reading the Word of God from the Holy Bible clearly, which requires projecting, plenty of energy, reading slowly, and articulating clearly. Click the image to contact us to join the lectors.

Wardens

Church wardens help to organise the crowds and ensure a smooth and orderly service for mass in terms of parking, seating, receiving communion. Click the image to contact us to join the church wardens.

Communion Ministers

Communion Ministers help priests to prepare and serve the Eucharist-Holy Communion-at Mass. While communion ministers are not ordained, their roles carry spiritual value. Click the image to contact us to join the communion ministers.

Legion of Mary

The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work. The Legion sees as its priority the spiritual and social welfare of each individual.
